Question by A: whats the difference between looking for “dating” and “a relationship” on facebook?
It gives u the option of what ur looking for, friends, networking, dating, relationship. But why dating AND relationship? arent they the same thing? This one girl i like only has “dating”.

I think ‘dating’ is more about going out with people and getting to know them, and seeing if you like them. If you do, you carry on seeing this person and are ‘in a relationship’ with them.

Where do you stand with the “conflict” between nature and man?

Monday, April 25th, 2011

Question by Yvette M.: Where do you stand with the “conflict” between nature and man?
do you agree that the human mind intervened with nature as mankind increased, causing the animals to be no match for him?

Best answer:

Answer by Tony R
One problem I have is that nature without man is not self destructive itself. Actually plants and animals will kill each other just to survive. Plants are always fighting for food and sunlight and will kill each other to do so. I just happens so slowly you don’t even notice it. Everything has to have an immune system because there are fungus and viruses that attack animals as well as plants. The sun could not care less weather it is putting out enough warmth for our planet or not. Rain will erode soil without a care. So this notion that mother nature is perfect is a little askew sometimes. The balance is not always perfect, and people try to make it out to be, and that man is the only one screwing it up. That is not true. In fact everywhere I look I see tons of examples where people are trying to help nature. Don’t people put out bird feeders and a lot of them. Don’t people try to put ponds where ponds never where. People don’t just make their yard into one big parking lot. They plant bushes and trees. If erosion is a problem in an area then steps are made to stop it.

Be that as it may however, I don’t think that people should just take a bucket of motor oil and dump it in a creek. However if it weren’t for man some areas of nature would be in trouble.
